Dylan Burke is a British Muay Thai fighter from New Addington, London, now living in Crawley. He used to fight with the Lumpini Fight Team under coach John Jarvis at Crawley Martial Arts Academy. Burke is known for his quick elbows and strong control in the ring, earning respect in the UK Muay Thai community. Over the years, he has become known not just for the belts he has won, but also for his calmness, skill, and discipline in fights.
Early Career and Development
He began competing as a professional before 2019 and quickly proved that he had the skills to compete with top fighters. Training every day with a small but tough team in Crawley, he developed a style based on timing, power, and composure. His training sessions, which include roadwork, pad work, and clinch practice, really shaped him as a fighter. Instead of getting into crazy brawls, Burke focused on being precise and making every hit count. Over time, his hard work led to him winning championship belts and earning a place among the rising names in British Muay Thai.
ISKA European Title
In June 2019, Burke fought Spanish fighter Sandro Martin at the Muay Thai Mayhem event in Crawley. The fight was tough from the start, with both fighters exchanging strong kicks and elbows. Martin tried to put the pressure on him early, but Burke stayed cool, using his jab and counterattacks to control the fight. His footwork and defence helped him in the later rounds, where he created space and landed better punches. After five intense rounds, he won by decision and became the ISKA Muay Thai Featherweight European Champion. This was his first big title and marked him as a serious competitor in the UK.
ISKA World Title
Two years later, in November 2021, Burke faced Spain’s Jose Fernandez at Combat Fight Series 6 in London for the ISKA Super-Featherweight World Title. Burke kept his discipline, staying at a distance and throwing good combinations in the middle rounds. His elbows and body kicks worked well, slowing Fernandez down and turning the fight in his favour. It was a tough match, but Burke’s determination and control in the ring really stood out. After another five rounds, he won by decision again, snagging a world championship belt. Winning a world title takes consistency, patience, and confidence, and Burke showed all of that.
Winning the WBC British Title
In April 2022, Burke continued his winning run at Muay Thai Mayhem in London against Jordan Swinton from the UK. The fight was for the WBC Muay Thai Super-Featherweight British Title. Burke looked sharp and confident, mixing low kicks with clinch work and jabs. Swinton came at him with a lot of energy, but Burke stayed calm and stuck to his game plan. When the fight wrapped up, Burke won clearly by unanimous decision and took home another belt, proving that he was getting better with each fight.
More Wins and Another WBC Title
He returned to the same event in June 2022, where he stopped Spanish fighter Madhi Akbari by TKO after a strong performance. Burke’s pressure and accuracy made a difference, and the referee had to stop the fight. Later that year, in October 2022, he fought Isaac Araya of Spain at Muay Thai Mayhem in Crawley. Burke controlled the fight from the start, landing powerful shots and finishing with another TKO in round two. That win earned him the WBC Muay Thai Lightweight International Title, adding another major belt to his growing collection.
Consistency and Growth as a Fighter
One thing that stands out in his victories is how Burke kept improving. A lot of fighters rise quickly and then fade away, but Burke kept pushing forward. His progress has been steady and earned. Training, weight cuts, travel, recovery, and mental focus have all helped him grow as a fighter.
Titles and Record
In total, Burke has won multiple titles under both ISKA and WBC Muay Thai, including European, British, International, and World Championships. His professional record stands at five wins and one loss, with several victories coming by stoppage. Every fight has been part of his journey of learning and growing mature inside the ring.
Staying Focused and Giving Back
Burke continues to represent Lumpini Crawley and remains focused on his career. He wants to keep testing himself against the best fighters in the UK and beyond. His journey from local competitions to international wins shows what hard work and perseverance can achieve in Muay Thai. Each fight has pushed him further, and now his name is recognised among the champions in British Muay Thai. He keeps training, improving, and getting ready for the next challenge, knowing that being a fighter is a never ending journey built one round at a time.
He also spends time helping younger fighters at the gym with pads and advice. These little things show he is focused on the long term. Fans and teammates praise his humility and strong work ethic, which shine through just as much as his success in the ring.
